For the sixth year in a row, Blane Ruschak, President of the KPMG US Foundation and the independent PhD Project, was the Charity Partner of the Charleston CFO Council annual dinner meeting and donated $5,000 dollars to the Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting (EFWA) in honor of the CFO Council.
Charleston CFO Council Founder Robert Bendetti was on hand with CFO Council member Clayton Thomason to virtually present the check to EFWA Board President Ashley Morales. In accepting the check, Ms. Morales thanked Mr. Ruschak and KPMG for their “generous donation and steadfast commitment to the advancement of women in accounting”.
The Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting (EFWA) awards scholarships to women who are pursuing Accounting degrees at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels. For more information please visit www.efwa.org.
